The men of Omega Psi Phi , Delta Upsilon Chapter, held it’s Inaugural Dr. Charles R. Drew Blood Drive on Saturday, September 22nd from 10 to 3 pm. The event was hosted at the VFW Post 7298 at 293 Green Lane, and from the looks of things, we were extremely excited to have the opportunity once again, to serve our community. The Community Blood Council of New Jersey provided all medical resources as well as refreshments and Tee-shirts to every blood donor. Delta Upsilon came out in Force! Photographs were taken by Brother Charles Davis, (Social Action Committee Chair and Newly Elected Basileus) and Brother Gary Keel provided the music. Members of the NAACP Trenton Branch and VFW Post 7298 also participated as donors. “All in all, the event was a great success”, commented Brother Ronald Williams, HBIC (Head Brother In Charge!) of the Blood Drive. “We (Delta Upsilon), extend an invitation to the members and their family and friends to join us next year at the Dr. Charles Drew Blood Drive.”
