
Brother Dr. Garry M. Keel has worked in higher education for more than 30 years as an instructor, counselor, and senior administrator. He currently works as the Director of Academic Advising at Thomas Edison State College in Trenton State New Jersey. He was initiated into the Fraternity on March 18, 1977 through the Iota Gamma Chapter at Rider College. Before becoming Basileus of the Chapter, for the past 6 years, Brother Keel was Chairperson for the Delta Upsilon Achievement Week Committee was honored as the Chapter’s Omega Man of the Year in 2005. Brother Keel also found and currently owns a tax preparation, business development, and financial management business. He is widely known for his experience in working to plan, implement and evaluate school based and community-based programs seeking to address social, educational, and career needs of students attending urban public schools and urban universities. In 2003, Brother Keel started the Money Management Associates Scholarship for varsity high school football players attending Ewing High School. Since its inception, over $2500 dollars of scholarship money has been awarded to students pursuing post high school training.
Brother Keel received his BA degree in Political Science from Rider College in 1978, his Masters in Education degree from Trenton State College in 1983 and his Doctorate in Education degree from Fordham University in 1998. Brother Keel is also a 1999 Neptune High School Hall of Fame inductee. Additionally, he has been recognized for community service and promoting small businesses by local business and community groups, and in national and local publications including Income Opportunities Magazine, Profits Magazine, The Times (Trenton), The Press (Asbury Park), The Princeton Packet, and the Burlington County Times. Brother Keel has also been a featured guest on Channel 7 ABC Eyewitness News, Channel 6 WPVI – Perspective New Jersey, New Jersey Network, and Comcast Cablevision discussing youth entrepreneurship, business basics, and personal savings strategies.

Brother Khary James Nickson is a graduate of Drexel University, where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering with a concentration in Networking. Brother Nickson is the Founder and President of Royalty Productions & Services, LLC which is a technology servicing company and a professional percussionist who has played drums at various gospel venues. Brother Nickson enjoys art, philosophy, and good productive debates. Finally, Brother Nickson lives by Philippians 4:13: “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”

Brother Dwayne M. King was born and raised in Trenton, NJ. A lifelong resident, Dwayne attended local public schools and graduated from Trenton Central High School in 1990. He graduated from The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey in 1995 with a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. While attending Stockton, Dwayne found his first love, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc and was inducted into the Fraternity on March 20, 1993. Upon graduating, Dwayne returned to Trenton and began working at Corestates Bank. Twelve years and three mergers later, he is still employed by the same company, which now goes by the name of Wachovia Bank. He currently holds the position of Vice President, Senior Fraud Investigator. Today Dwayne resides in Trenton with his beautiful wife of 10 years, Lei, and their two children Nate and Deja. In 2008, Dwayne received his Master of Arts Degree in Justice and Security from the University of Phoenix.

Brother James G. Allen is a graduate of Trenton Central High School and has a B.A. degree in Political Science, Public Administration from Trenton State College. He has served as an ordained Deacon of the Galilee Baptist Church where he has also served as Chairman of the board of Trustees for the church for a number of years. Brother Allen has served The College of New Jersey (formally Trenton State College) in various administrative positions with the final being that of Director of Building Services for greater than twenty-five years and is currently employed by the City of Trenton as the Assistant Director of Pubic Works. He has continued to serve the community through Omega Psi Phi, Delta Upsilon Chapter as Basileus three times as well as a Deputy Corridor Representative for the State of New Jersey for four years. He is a Past Master of Woodlin Lodge No. 30 (Twice). He is a member of King David Chapter No. 6 Holy Royal Arch Masons. Past Commander-in-Chief of Ophir Consistory No. 48, Ancient and Accepted Scottish-Rite Masons. He is a member of Khufu Temple No.120, Ancient Egyptian Arabic Order Nobles Mystic Shrine. He has served as Patron of Princess Leah Chapter No. 23, Order of Eastern Star three times. He served Oziel Grand Chapter in the appointed position of Assistant Grand Sentinel, Grand Secretarial Staff and currently serving the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge as Assistant Grand Secretary. He was elevated to the 33rd degree in Masonry in May, 1996. He was elected to the position of Grand Secretary for the New Jersey Council of Deliberation in the fall of 2001. All of the above houses of Masonry are Prince Hall Affiliation. In 2007 in was awarded Public Employee of the Year by The Trenton Civic Association. His personal Bible scripture is Proverbs 3:4-6. His favorite songs are “I Have So Much to Thank God for” and “I’m Blessed.” He also has two sayings “Each One, Teach One” and “if I’ve done something to help you, then the payment for this is to pass it on.” James gives all the glory and thanks to God for the many blessings and joy that have been granted him to serve God, his church and the community for the enrichment and encouragement of people.
